Kegeesh Ommidjagh - Foolish Fortnight Presentation Pack

The Kegeesh Ommidjagh - Foolish Fortnight Presentation Pack, from Isle of Man Post Office, brings together all six Christmas stamps in a specially presented collection exploring the Island’s traditional festive customs and folklore. The accompanying content provides insight into the stories, characters and celebrations represented throughout the issue.

Created in collaboration with Manx artist Felicity Wood for the 2026 Blein ny Gaelgey (Year of the Manx Language), the issue explores traditions including Cammag, Hunt the Wren, the Kissing Bush, Laair Vane, Mollag bands and the Quaaltagh. Together, they reveal how Manx communities once paused from everyday work to enjoy a fortnight of music, gatherings, games and festive mischief.

Felicity Wood’s playful illustrations celebrate the Manx language while bringing these distinctive traditions to life. The issue also marks 90 years of Sight Matters and 150 years of Mothers’ Union, recognising their contributions to communities in the Isle of Man and beyond.

Limited to 1,000 packs, this Presentation Pack offers collectors an engaging introduction to Kegeesh Ommidjagh and the rich traditions that form part of the Island’s festive heritage.
