Kegeesh Ommidjagh - Foolish Fortnight Self-Adhesive First Day Cover

The Kegeesh Ommidjagh - Foolish Fortnight self-adhesive covers feature the colourful artwork from the 2026 Isle of Man stamp issue in a distinctive format.

Created in collaboration with Manx artist Felicity Wood as part of the 2026 Blein ny Gaelgey (Year of the Manx Language), the issue celebrates traditional customs, folklore and community life associated with the Manx festive season.

The designs draw inspiration from stories including Cammag, Hunt the Wren, the Kissing Bush, Laair Vane, Mollag bands and the Quaaltagh, bringing together some of the playful characters and traditions associated with Kegeesh Ommidjagh.

These covers offer a colourful way to enjoy Felicity Wood’s distinctive artwork while celebrating the Manx language and the Island’s festive heritage. They make an engaging addition to collections focused on Manx culture, Christmas traditions or the 2026 Year of the Manx Language.

Comprising two covers, this set provides collectors with a distinctive way to enjoy the issue’s festive artwork and the stories behind it.
