Kegeesh Ommidjagh - Foolish Fortnight Self-Adhesive Set

The Kegeesh Ommidjagh - Foolish Fortnight self-adhesive stamp set brings the colourful traditions of the Manx festive season to life in a convenient self-adhesive format.

Created in collaboration with Manx artist Felicity Wood for the 2026 Blein ny Gaelgey (Year of the Manx Language), the Christmas stamps celebrate customs, folklore and community life associated with the traditional two-week festive period.

The issue explores stories including Cammag, Hunt the Wren, the Kissing Bush, Laair Vane, Mollag bands and the Quaaltagh, offering a playful glimpse into the traditions that brought communities together during Foolish Fortnight.
Felicity Wood’s distinctive illustrations incorporate Manx words, characters and details inspired by the Island’s heritage, making this set both practical and visually engaging.

A colourful celebration of Manx language, Christmas traditions and the Island’s unique cultural heritage, the self-adhesive set is an accessible addition to any collection. The self-adhesive format makes these stamps particularly convenient to use, while retaining the character and detail of Felicity Wood’s artwork.
