Manx Heritage Transport Presentation Pack

The Manx Heritage Transport Presentation Pack contains all six stamps from the 2026 issue, presented alongside detailed notes exploring the development of bus and horse tram services on the Isle of Man.

It traces the history of the Douglas Bay Horse Tramway from its opening in 1876 through to its modern preservation, highlighting key milestones including its extension along Douglas Promenade, wartime suspension and restoration into its 150th anniversary year.

Bus history is also covered, from charabanc services in the early 20th century through to National Transport in 1976 and the modern Bus Vannin network, including fleet development and accessibility improvements over recent decades.

It also features commentary on the six stamp subjects, spanning historic tramway scenes and key bus vehicles including Leyland, DAF and Mercedes Benz models, reflecting the changing face of transport across the Island.
