The National Treasures First Day Cover features all six stamps from the 2026 issue, officially postmarked on 10th September 2026 to commemorate this special Isle of Man Post Office collection celebrating the Island’s archaeological heritage.
Created in partnership with Manx National Heritage, the issue explores six remarkable discoveries spanning more than 4,000 years. The stamps feature Bronze Age jewellery, Viking treasures, medieval silver and historic objects that reveal fascinating stories about the people who shaped the Isle of Man’s past.
The accompanying insert includes expert commentary from Allison Fox, Curator of Archaeology at Manx National Heritage, providing further insight into the discoveries and the stories behind each featured artefact. Her knowledge helps explain the importance of these objects and what they reveal about earlier communities.
The collection also marks the return of several original treasures to the Isle of Man for the National Treasures exhibition, including artefacts loaned from the British Museum.
Featuring all six stamps and an official First Day of Issue postmark, this limited-edition cover provides a special commemorative format for collectors wishing to celebrate one of the Island’s most significant heritage collections.
