Beauty of the Isle of Man celebrated through first stamps of 2026

Beauty of the Isle of Man celebrated through first stamps of 2026

Isle of Man Stamps & Coins is proud to announce a new set of ten stamps celebrating the natural beauty and hidden wonders of the Isle of Man. This exclusive collection draws its imagery from The Wild Guide Isle of Man, created in partnership with the book’s author, Andy North.

The stamps showcase breath-taking scenes and evocative landscapes, as featured in the recently published Wild Guide series. It is a gathering-together of stunning locations scattered around the Island. A joyful exploration of natural and special places that may have been hidden just off the beaten path. It is a collection of adventures, points of interest, great places to eat and stay in a country of extraordinary history, peace and beauty.

Both the book and stamps invite readers and collectors alike to explore the Island’s wild places, secret beaches, rugged coastlines, and enchanting glens. Each stamp captures the essence of the Isle of Man’s unique environment, showcasing our status as the world’s only UNESCO Biosphere nation. We are pleased to feature the use of Manx throughout this collection in support of Belin ny Gaelgey 2026 – the Year of the Manx Language.

Interactions with the wilder environments of the natural world are increasingly beneficial in a digital age that prioritises an indoor seated existence, tethered to our technology and disconnected from our surroundings. We hope you enjoy the stamps, and that you too will set your sights on experiencing the beauty that exists all around us!

Andy North, author of Wild Guide Isle of Man commented: “I feel very lucky to have been able to wander around this stunning Island, exploring and capturing some of the natural beauty and the special places that may have been hidden just off the beaten tracks. I would like as many people as possible to share this feeling of gratitude for all that we have around us and I hope you enjoy a tiny glimpse of that within this set of stamps.”

This collection marks the 20th anniversary of Manx charity Beach Buddies. Their unstinting commitment ensures our coastlines stay litter free. They host 230 events per year, have over 15,000 volunteers and care for over 100 miles of Manx coastline.

Maxine Cannon, General Manager of Isle of Man Stamps and Coins, said: “We are delighted to collaborate with Andy North on this special issue. His work in The Wild Guide Isle of Man perfectly reflects the spirit of adventure and natural beauty that makes our island so extraordinary. These stamps are both a tribute to the Isle of Man’s landscapes but also an invitation to discover them for yourself."

Released on 6th January 2026, the Wild Isle of Man issue is available online at iomstamps.com/WildIOM and at selected Post Offices. The collection includes a Set, First Day Cover, Presentation Pack and Self-Adhesive Postal Booklets (IOM & UK values). We hope this issue inspires you to explore our Wild Isle of Man, whether you live here or away from our shores, you won’t be disappointed.
