About this issue

Issued on 25th September 2025, this stunning six-stamp collection pays tribute to Rick Wakeman CBE - legendary keyboardist, composer, and long-time Isle of Man resident - alongside the visionary artistry of Roger Dean, whose album covers and stage designs helped define progressive rock.

The stamps celebrate key moments from Wakeman’s remarkable career, from Journey to the Centre of the Earth to The Myths and Legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Each design draws on Dean’s imaginative worlds of dragons, landscapes, and fantastical architecture - imagery instantly recognisable to fans of YES and Wakeman’s solo works.

With more than 50 million records sold, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and a CBE for services to music, Wakeman’s influence spans generations. His connection to the Isle of Man - where he composed and recorded prolifically, inspired by the Island’s landscapes - is also celebrated in this issue.

Available as mint set, First Day Cover, Presentation Pack, Prestige Booklet and more, this limited edition range of collectables are a must have for music fans, art collectors, and philatelists alike.
